The Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) has appointed Karl Toriola, chief executive officer (CEO) of MTN Nigeria, Ndidi Nwuneli, founder of LEAP Africa and managing partner of Sahel Consulting Agriculture and Nutrition Ltd, to its board of directors. In a statement, Asue Ighodalo, chairman of NESG’s board of directors, said Nwuneli and Toriola were appointed alongside Amina Maina, CEO of MRS Holdings Ltd; Mike Sangster, CEO, Total E & P Limited.   FG Suspends Adeboye’s Helicopter From Flying. The Federal Government through the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority has grounded a private chopper belonging to Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God at the Lagos Airport. According to Punch Newspaper, the aircraft, AgustaWestland AW139 chopper, with registration number 5N-EAA, was suspended from flying over two weeks ago, following the expiration of some of its papers and spare parts. The suspension, officials said, would also allow the regulator to conduct vital safety checks on its safety-critical components, especially some spare parts that are due for replacement. Moses Tembe, the father of AKA‘s fiancée has negated the reports that his daughter, Anele “Nelli” Tembe, committed suicide. The Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide (a.k.a Winners’ Chapel) David Oyedepo yesterday said he would not take COVID-19 vaccine jab, saying he is not a guinea pig. The cleric expressed his disapproval for the vaccine during the church’s Covenant Hour of Prayer programme held at Faith Tabernacle – Canaanland, Sango Otta, Ogun State.
