Diamond Publications Friday evening hosted a reception at Jade Restaurant, Isaac John, Ikeja GRA, Lagos in honour of newly appointed ambassadors to Thailand and Togo. The event drew media heavyweights including (from right) Sam Omatseye (Chairman Editorial board, The Nation), Dr Reuben Abati (Presenter, Arise TV), Gbenga Adefaye (Editor-In-Chief of Vanguard), Oma Djeba (Nigeria’s new ambassador to Thailand), Louis Odion (Senior Technical Assistant on Media to the President), Debo Adesina (Nigeria’s new ambassador to Togo), Lanre Idowu (CEO, Diamond Publication), Eniola Bello (Managing Director of Thisday), Eddy Odivwri (senior editor with Thisday) and Azubuike Ishiekwene (Editor-In-Chief of Leadership).

Money Woman, Nimi Akinkugbe Appointed As Nigeria’s Ambassador To Greece.

  Accomplished banker and finance expert, Opunimi Akinkugbe (née Ajumogobia), was recently confirmed as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Greece.  Akinkugbe, 60, is the founder of ‘Money Matters with Nimi’, and the CEO of Bestman Games Ltd.  Prior to her appointment as Ambassador, Akinkugbe has enjoyed a successful career in the banking sector, working across top management positions before transitioning to the business space.
